We're gonna do a Climate Town Discord channel

I hope all is well. I'm currently working on not ONE, not THREE, but TWO new Climate Town episodes including the first collabo dabbo (collaboration) episode. I think it's gonna be ... pretty cool.
A few of you fine people suggested I make a Discord channel for Climate Town because it's a good place for people to connect and share articles and events and that kind of thing. AndI had just one question for those fine people: But what a discord even am? So they told me and when I still didn't understand they literally showed me with screenshare and now I get it and we started one.

IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT A DISCORD IS, YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Basically it's like Slack but you don't have to pretend to be online when you don't want to be. There are text channels where you can comment with people and post links and stuff, there's a voice channel where you can turn your mic on and talk to people (and your camera even?) and best of all, it's completely OPTIONAL. If you try it out and hate it, log out forever. Hell, throw your phone on the ground, the world is yours.
So here's the link to the Discord Channel, feel free to join and poke around and leave messages and stuff. Suggest new text channels, post articles, whatever you wanna do. I'll be online pretty frequently and I'll even hold some little Climate Town Town Halls via the Discord including this FRIDAY, DECEMBER 17TH 5PM - 6PM EST. There's this cool event feature in discord when you can ... you know what it'll become obvious once you're in there.

Bear in mind that with Patreon you can make it a thing where if someone becomes a patron it'll automatically add their linked Discord account into the server with no invite link fuss required.
