2D Print - Progress Update
A few updates ago, we mentioned that we're going to be re-working our 2D miniatures to give them a more consistent look with our 3D minis, as well as release full armies instead of only a few miniatures per army.
We've been working hard at this over the last few weeks, and now we've finally got something to show, with a first preview of our new Duchies of Vinci and Alien Hives minis.
The idea is that in the future we'll be doing monthly 2D army releases that cover everything from the 3D line, instead of constantly switching between armies. We're also looking into adding some extra variations with additional weapons, heads, and other details, so that our packs can feature double the amount of minis you get now.
In order to align everything properly, we're going to need some extra time however, so we'll be re-releasing some older sets during October as well, just like we're doing now in September. We're going to try and get the last 2 gangs done to be released in October too, plus finalize the last couple colors for the Fantasy terrain.
After that we'll be able to fully focus on the Duchies of Vinci and Alien Hives, which should hopefully be ready for their first release in November. :)
3D Print - New Previews
At the top of this post you can see previews of some of the models that will be released in October, with the DV Captain on Automa Bird, the MU Vultures, and the RL Tripod Walker in different configurations (cannon, repair, queen).
