2D Print - Fantasy Terrain, August Poll
First things first, take the poll for next month's 2D minis by going here.
We know many of you have been waiting for the new fantasy terrain set to be released for a while, and today we got some good and bad news.
The good news is that the first part is available for download here.
The bad news is that making these terrain sets has been much more work than we though they would be, and so have caused a bit of burnout on our 2D artist. Because of this we have decided to release new color versions of the terrain over time, rather then do it all in one batch, so that he doesn't go crazy with it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
3D Print - New Previews, Poll Results
At the top of this post you can see previews of some of the models that will be released in August, with the DV Automa Brutes, the AH Invasion Artillery plus Invasion Carrier and the MU Death Casket.
Last week we ran a poll to see how people prefer to print your miniatures. We found it very interesting that 56% voted for single-piece models in the first question, yet only 34% voted for single-piece models in the second question. :D

This poll created a ton of engagement and we got 200+ messages discussing the issue at length, which shows us how passionate everyone is about it. We're very happy that you all sent us lots of feedback and suggestions, so thank you all!
One of the most common responses we got is that people enjoy having both the single-piece and modular versions of the models, but they don't require that all of the modular pieces are all fully pre-supported.
We're still thinking about it, but this definitely sounds like a good compromise to solve some of the issues we've outlined in our previous post. Whilst it wouldn't save us the time of doing cuts/key, it would at least help lower the cost and time investment put into pre-supports, as well as reduce file sizes (and thus download/upload times).
So, if you have any more feedback on this, feel free to reply to this post, but this definitely sounds like the best compromise that would keep both single-piece and multi-piece printers happy, still allowing for customization whilst lowering costs. :)
Finally, we got a new painting video for you: https://youtu.be/BPVdZArK4I4

That's it for this week, happy wargaming!
