April Previews + Roadmap

April New Releases
In April we're starting with the first wave of our new Duchies of Vinci models, plus the continuation of our Alien Hive army with lots of new models. We're also going to be releasing our first loyalty rewards models, which are insanely huge (we'll share pictures of them in a separate post in the coming days).
On top of that we're also going to be releasing a unit of Dwarf Berserkers, a Battle Sisters Walker, 88 new bases, 2 new rulers, 4 new dice and 12 new objective markers!
For 2D print we're going to be releasing the Sky-City Dwarves army and the Artisans Gang, and on the gaming side we're going to keep working on our skirmish adventure game Sellswords (as well as releasing rules for the Duchies of Vinci army).

Project Roadmap
The past month has been kind of crazy, and as per the update from the 11th of March, there have been some unforeseen delays that have thrown our release schedule a bit off course.
Additionally we've also been getting a ton of requests from people to expand on our existing armies, so we're currently seeing about the best way to adjust our production so that we can give everyone full armies instead of only a few units for each.
With those things in mind, we're going to be starting off with continuous releases of the Alien Hives until we have them all done, and we'll be starting off with releasing more Mummified Undead models in July. This means that you'll be getting 3 armies (instead of only 2) with each release for a while, so even more value for the same price!
Since things have been so rocky with production, we also don't want to overpromise things, so we're going to only be showing off the roadmap for the next 3 months from now on, instead of for the next 6 months as it used to be. This should hopefully mean that the roadmap becomes a more reliable measure of what to expect in the future.
Here's a breakdown by month:
- May - Duchies of Vinci & Alien Hives
- June - Duchies of Vinci & Alien Hives
- July - Duchies of Vinci, Alien Hives & Mummified Undead, New Loyalty Rewards

They are an original army made by OPR, though you can use them as proxies for other human armies in one way or another. :)

2021-03-26 13:55:40 +0000 UTCThe Duchies of Vinci look cool, steampunk style knights. The alien hives is Grimdark Future, so I assume Duchies of Vinci is Age of Fantasy? None of the army lists really seem to fit, but I'm not that familiar with all of them either.

Then the first days of Patreon, with no 3d miniatures in mind, just great games and a giant creator with a community of gamers ready to back. I had to leave Patreon and gaming and miniatures due to a variety of issues. I came back in december 2020, and gods of chaos, dragons and elves be praised, you take on OPR full time, armies of miniatures and games galore. I salute you, sir. You rule.

One request: as you continue to develop Sellswords, please do what you can to differentiate it in more ways from Rangers; that's practically a one-man project, even if he has been very successful with his game designs. I love the OPR takes on Grannie's games, but I'd rather that Sellswords didn't poach too much from Rangers. Hope you can understand where I'm coming from on that. :-)
