Happy Holidays & Plans for 2020
Added 2019-12-24 10:24:00 +0000 UTCToday I'm not going take up too much of your time as I think we should try to be with our families as much as possible during the holidays.
So instead of bringing you a huge wall of text I'd like to just outline a couple of the things we'd like to achieve in 2020.
Before we start I'd like to thank you all for your support, without it none of this would've been possible, and I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity that I'm given every day to work on this project.
Moving on, here's a list of things we'd like to get done next year, in no particular order. Please note that there is no 100% guarantee we'll get to do all of these.
- Full Rulebooks for Firefight and Skirmish: Expect some similar stuff from the other rulebooks but also completely new stuff that fits the skirmish gameplay.
- Physical Rulebooks for all games: We're looking into print-on-demand services so that people can buy softcover and hardcover versions of our games.
- New ways to play: Campaign rules for GF and AoF, Tournament Rules, Narrative Campaigns and other Expansions to keep the games fresh.
- Print & Play Miniatures: We're looking into print-and-play miniaturs to create "new starters" packages that make it even easier to get into our games.
- New Games: Now that we feel our core games are solid we'd like to start exploring new games that cover other genres, miniatures, etc.
- Physical Miniatures: That's right, we've been in contact with an awesome miniatures manufacturer to see about selling physical miniatures (funded via KS).
- OPR Game Jam: In the spring we'd like to host a proper game jam, where participants have 48hrs to design a one-page ruleset and everyone gets to vote on the ones they liked best.
That's it for now, there are other ideas we have in mind but those are really far off, probably way past next year, so I won't bore you with the details.
Hope you liked this insight into the future, and I'll see you all 2020. ;)
Happy Holidays!
