What have I done...

So you know how in my last post I mentioned making a video on Wes Craven's Cursed (2005) while I finish Teen Wolf? Just a BRIEF video? A cute little tiny adorable video? Well. The thing is. I've been working on the script for at least a week, and I just finished. I'll probably go back and edit it a little, but at the moment, it stands at 24 pages and 12,748 words. And that's not even including a section I've decided will be a Patreon exclusive, which is an extra 3 pages and 1,351 words. For reference, my TSN fanfic video was 23 pages and 12,280 words, so this is definitely looking to be a feature length vid. Why do I keep doing this to myself???

You have to understand. Okay? You have to. First, I was just going to go through the development hell and my review of the film itself, but then just chronicling the history of the production turned out to be pretty lengthy, and then I couldn't help but be long-winded in discussing the film, and then I discovered that the original script before the rewrites/reshoots was available to read online, so obviously I had to talk about that, and then I discovered that there was an unrated cut, so obviously I had to compare that to the theatrical cut, and then I started writing the conclusion which devolved into a lengthy discussion of Miramax's history of interfering with their productions culminating in me analogizing Harvey Weinstein to Punxsutawney Phil the Groundhog Day groundhog, and THEN I couldn't not talk about the #ReleasetheCravenCut movement, right? Right???

The good news is that now that it's written, that's pretty much the hardest part done (my favorite part, but often the hardest). As long as I stay in Cursed-brain-mode, I should be able to edit it pretty quickly, though I'll probably have to record it in two sittings due to its length.

I even made a Custom Shirt for this vid, as I am wont to do, based on Jesse Eisenberg's anecdote that when the cast came back for the 3rd set of reshoots, the crew had made shirts that said "Cursed 4: Back for More". I wore this to my tap dance class this week and luckily no one asked me about it.

Just thought I would update you as things are really getting out of hand, and I figure that's what you're all here to see, right? Window into my Twisted Mind? Etc.? I'm just like Matthew Vaughn in that sense.
