Issues with Patreon Banking
Added 2018-08-03 03:43:52 +0000 UTCHey all, so I'm told patreon moved their bank to the UK, and that's causing a lot of people's pledges to come up as fradulent (See their twitter for more details: Link)
If your pledge went through this month, you likely don't need to do anything, and can safely ignore this!
But if your pledge didn't go through, here's what's being suggested:
1. Contact your bank and let them know the patreon charges aren't fradulent. (Recommended, as you'll only need to do this once, and it should work from then on.)
2. Re-pledge using Paypal
3. Re-pledge using a different credit card.
Sorry for the inconvenience! Presumeably Patreon has their reasons for doing this, and hopefully this'll only happen this one time. Thanks!
