Progress + Stuff

Been doing some thinking. Originally, the game was going to be a lot darker/serious and revolve around cruel/unsettling themes. In hindsight, that necessitates the type of lewd content that I'm not really comfortable doing. While the game will still be fairly serious, I'm going to mix it up with more random/silly things, which to be honest, is more my speed.
For that reason, the 'Bad Time' mechanic will be removed (since it basically means awful things have to potentially happen to the player characters regularly.) Originally, you'd remove it by doing fun/wholesome lewd things with the afflicted character, and convincing them that 'not all sex is bad', that sort of thing. It might still be a neat idea to explore in a smaller, more contained game, but I think it'll be too much to try it with RS.
Oh, I've also changed Wait to Guard in battle, so that it doesn't feel like a 'wasted turn'. As well, finally getting around to messing with combat sex mechanics~.

Thank god for that. I'm a little tired of people slapping dark crap in their games "just because" or "it's more mature" or "edgy, woo!". Thanks for this change, Indivi. :)

2018-04-07 04:29:07 +0000 UTCIt's mostly just that now there's no plans to have it do anything outside of the junkyard now, so it'll be easier to just dispose of it. The brothel stuff, to be honest, it's partly because it doesn't feel that interesting compared to doing stuff between party members, or really weird stuff later on.

I dunno, I also noticed that you can never actually do some of the lewd things on the brothel menu, I get why but it's kind of a tease maybe have a way to get that far early/earlier on? Just a thought.
