Hey everyone, as you might've noticed, Patreon's planning to change the way pledges work on December 18. Now pledgers are charged a service fee of 35 cents, plus an additional 2.9% of your pledge amount. Specifically for $1 pledgers, this jumps you up to $1.38, so please be aware of that. For $5 and up, it's less significant of a jump, but still something to take note of.

Here is a summary of all of it, at least as far as I understand it:

1. These fees always existed, but was originally on creators to pay out of everyone's pledge amounts.

2. Patreon wants to make monthly charge upfront available to everyone, but having pledgers who sign up at the end of the month get charged twice wasn't ideal.

3. This new system makes it so that pledgers are only charged in month intervals on the date that they pledge. So if you began pledging on Dec 31, then you'll be charged on Dec 31, then Jan 31, and so on, instead of Dec 31, and then immediately again on Jan 1.

4. The reason the system doesn't already work like this, is because the fees from making numerous transfers throughout the month is much more than just doing one mass transfer at the start of each month.

5. By offsetting the fees to patrons instead, that makes it so that creators aren't losing lots of money to bank transfer fees while under this new system.

(Again, this is just my understanding of what's happening. If anyone notices anything incorrect, please speak up!)

Obviously, this creates a large burden for $1 pledgers, so if you feel the need to cancel because of this, I understand.

On a more positive note, having access to charge upfront is something I'm stoked for, as it'll allow me to put polls and new releases directly on patreon. For you guys, that means instead of having to sift through your emails for my messages, it'll just be here on the site itself. For new pledgers, that means immediate access to releases and polls, instead of having to message me to get you them.

So that's what's going on there. Update-wise, I've finally finished all the lewd art I need for brothel work (at least for now.) Gotta focus on gameplay/writing now, as it feels like I used too much time for lewd arts. In any case, have some bewbs.
