It is interesting though that there was no hesitation, no thought at all, you make a valid case indeed that Nigel is most likely to intentionally betray the party and the mission at some point.

2023-08-12 22:08:27 +0000 UTCI am well aware of the sort of character Nigel is and his response doesn't surprise me, I asked because I was curious to see if he actually held anyone (possibly Tristan or his brother) in high regard, since he doesn't it has confirmed to me that Nigel is unlikely to change his ways and is more likely to become a villain in the story than be redeemed. he is after all written to be unlikeable.
