Whether he'd be open or not, he NEEDs it. Personally, I'd like to hear that his brother personally admit to Nigel that he, (the brother), has denounced their parents and forever left them. Those bigots turned their back on their own flesh and blood and are disgraces to their clan/families. Those boys deserve better than them. Especially Nigel. And the Tree knows this. But she refused to do what should've been done that night, so long ago

2023-07-28 23:20:42 +0000 UTCI think Nigel would benefit from commisserating with his brother... about the lack of love he experienced until Nigel was effectively unpersoned, and what their parents did to them. The brother turned out okay, but has probably been irreversibly damaged by the treatment, and Nigel is just acting worse for it. I feel like Nigel might blame his brother for how his parents treated him, since he blames the Tree as well. If anything, Nigel probably needs some closure, and maybe some hard truths. I don't think he'd actually be open to having that heart to heart until he faces that... well, he let his bitterness consume him after being gently rejected by the Tree (and more importantly, **asked to try again later**).

2023-07-27 19:28:29 +0000 UTCKind of looks like the only way the others could get Nigel to help them out is if they dared him to, so far Nigel seems to be the sort that will do what it takes to prove that he's better than everyone else, I can't see him becoming friends with any of them any time soon, maybe Tristan since he's the only one Nigel doesn't have a personal grudge against, also now that he's blind someone has to assist him and I don't think it's gonna be the other three.
