A little health update
Added 2022-12-23 12:11:53 +0000 UTCHi, guys! :) I felt the need to write some updates on something.
A few months ago, many comic pages and progress were delayed because I had a lot of eye- and headache and plenty of migraines. These pains became more frequent and more intense, and I was unable to draw for any decent amount of time. For those who didn't know this, it's very common for me to have headaches and get migraines. These were always a terrible hindrance to my work and everyday life. These always make me very sad, and I also feel very disappointed when I can't make progress with the work.
Anyway, in these past few months, I felt even worse than usual. Nothing really helped, and I also felt like my eyesight had deteriorated a lot, but I didn't take it seriously enough.
But now I have a new pair of glasses, because it turns out I really needed them. My near vision has really deteriorated (my distance vision has improved though, which the optician says is very strange), and my previous glasses were just straining my eyes. The new glasses are completely different from the previous ones (and three times more expensive…). My eyes seem to feel a lot better in general, and I could get used to them quickly enough that I was able to start working in the next 1-2 days. And ever since I got them, I have had no headaches or migraines at all.
The glasses will undoubtedly assist me in having fewer headaches and migraines (because the majority of my headaches and migraines are caused by my eyes). Getting the glasses was a very bumpy road (really... because I have an ocular axis misalignment and I was stressed during the examination and I messed up several times), but I feel that the time and money were well worth it.
But things didn't end with the new glasses, not at all! In fact, this is just the beginning. I have to go get some other things checked out that are ongoing and will have to wait. I'll probably be going to the doctor a lot for all sorts of check-ups over the next year, starting in January. I REALLY can't wait to get to one of the check-ups, because I'm really curious to hear what the doctor says. I might have symptoms of hidden illnesses that I want to look into. The uncertainty is really bothering me, so I am looking forward to what this particular doctor has to say. So don't worry, I'm really not afraid of the examinations, I'm actually looking forward to them :)
So far, that's all I've managed to do and find out about my health in the past few months. I have to wait a lot for doctors and tests, even though I have a little help. But just knowing that I'm on a path and that I have new glasses is helping my well-being a bit!
Thank you all for reading! I'll write more about how I'm progressing through the maze of examinations, but it'll still take some time, maybe months. Thank you for all your kindness and support I have received so far! Take care, and have a good holiday :)

The feeling that my eyes get tired less often or not as easily makes worth it a lot, but of course when I use it as it intended. Even a little development can make a difference! I also have a blue filter on the lenses (I had on the previous one too), and I agree, it distorts the colors so minimally that you can hardly notice it. Happy Holidays! ^^

2022-12-24 21:36:54 +0000 UTCI also got new glasses. They got a blue filter to help with monitor work. I was worried that it would screw my color vision when drawing but it's such a narrow band it's not noticeable. So far I feel my eyes do not get as tired as they used to so I hope for such a good result as you had. Merry Christmas!

2022-12-24 09:37:55 +0000 UTCfortunately my own migraine sources were easy to identify since they happened after I drank too much coffee. Unfortunately they still happen because I am in fact addicted to caffeine.
