[This is my headconnon] Alexander never told any of the others about his feelings for a mortal woman (Gloria) as it (possibly) forbidden for Gods to fall in love with, bed or to have children with mortals. So, soon Alex might either be banished or he'll resign from the council for/to follow(ing) his own heart rather than obey what everyone else has to say. But if it isn't anything like that, i'm cool with that too and shows that most of the god(esse)s of this universe have each others backs.
