Right Into Your Heart

I wanted to surprise my hubby with something, and this is what came to my mind :) So if any of you guys have some spare chocolate you don't want to eat, just pass it to Evie, she'll make it disappear in the blink of an eye ;)
By the way, do you guys know why you can always eat dessert after dinner, no matter how full you are? Because the dessert doesn't go in your stomach. It goes to your heart :3
... so, so cute ...

I'd sure give any chocolates to her! Unfortunately though I mostly don't like the taste of such, it may easily get me feel sick and disgusted. :(

As cute as this picture is, that sugar high is going to be off the charts. Poor Estelle, she is going to need some earplugs...and maybe a straight jacked for Evie.

If you were expecting a scientific answer... the stomach itself expands in size in response to the tongue being stimulated by large amounts of sugar. Sugar is one of the primary components in aerobic respiration, and the body will do everything it can to accomodate a sudden surplus if that source of chemical energy, even if the stomach is full. The concept of "there's always room for dessert" has actual biological backing; your stomach will stretch to it's limits to accomodate the influx of biochemical fuel if your tongue detects large amounts of sugar. This is also part of why we love "sweet" things so much. "Sweet" to us is what our body desires the most, based on energy output (calories).
