Saying itβs inevitable that his music and artistry is going to change, become more commercial probably, but he hopes that weβll still appreciate him and love him before βtheyβ all love him. βTheyβ being the masses. Because he knows heβs going to blow up and start getting love from everyone and itβs going to change things. But until then heβs βgot youβ, meaning us as fans and going to give us the best of him. Heβs talked about this song before, so this isnβt me speculating. I can see the angle you interpreted it from, but thereβs more just another layer to it. Also, fun fact, he doesnβt remember recording the song Gone. Apparently he was so fucked up on drugs he just went in the studio and freestyled the whole thing π Pretty incredible
