Dude, that one torture where it looked like they had blocks stacked on them is even nastier than it looks. When they used to really do that, they'd put a board with wooden wedges sharpened to a fine point underneath the guy so his shins were pressed against a row of wedges. Then they'd stack those blocks on their lap to force the shins down onto the sharpened wood. Oof. Nasty shit.
