So, spring has come, which means it's time to change the tune.
From from deniable goons in autumn-winter clothes, operating in the dirt and soggy snow of Eastern Europe, we move to sunny Syria nine years ago.
I decided to start the line with the very-not-deniable Russian Special Operations Forces. They are pretty well-documented for a SOF and the equipment they used has not lost its relevance.
What's in the set? Four fighters in variations of the Gen.3 uniform, in three different armor vests (Hoplite and Defender-2 from Fort Tech, plus Cubano Cortez from R-Karbid), with a set of weapons for almost any situation (from short SR-3M to PKP and GM-94). Almost everything, from pants to rifle tuning - taken either directly from photo references, or selected according to the "principle of plausibility" with an eye on other Spetsnaz units.
Helmets this time are represented by the widely used LShZ-1+ line with and without a cover.
And, of course, pouches. Lots of pouches! A LOT of pouches! Some are old and familiar, most are new, copied from references.
The result is a set that allows you to plausibly assemble most of the Russian Spetsnaz units for approximately 2014-2020
This release includes 4 non-modular minis as well as 4 modular kits.
As always, you can see more info on layout renders!
I wish you to have the most splendid time printing , painting and wargaming with them!
Cheers!
