March SitRep 19Feb

Hello guys!

Alright, time for the promised Sitrep!

The following good news are:
1. First model (standing) done! Is he wearing slightly modified Gen.3 pants with Hoplite vest with extra side screens and is using a rifle i've referenced from one of the photos.

2. Second model (sitting) is done! I'm not 100% happy with his arms position, but i've tested it today with my TT Mk2 rig and it is still plausible . He is wearing (another) modified Gen.3, combat shirt with elbow plates (i think this time they look better than in Eastern Europe Octopods) and all-new plate carrier called Cubano Cortés (yes in Spanish, yes it is designed and made in Russia, yes it is in the photos, god bless YT because i've only found its name by chance). His rifle is also referenced from one of the photos, with (kinda) new Elcan SpecterDR 1.5-6x which can be found on many photos, used both on MGs and ARs.

Tomorrow i will start making next pose sketch, probably moving with rifle pointed towards "second floor", not very high but still above.

That's it for today, hope you like them! I'm also looking closely at how the poll about radios is doing, so don't forget to give your voice!

Cheers!

I've been thinking and have an answer - i'll redo the hand to have more relaxed grip.

Im not up to date with modern doctrines, but when I was, everything was influenced by magpul dynamics, with travis haley and that Coast guard guy. From that perspective you would strive to grip the gun as far towards the muzzle as practically possible with the thumb on top of the gun or on the side, (not wraping it around). You have done many good versions of this.

i can only answer with a photo. The guy on it has front grip in "extreme forward" position and i have zero idea how to hold it otherwise. Plus - having a laser system on the side really limits where you can put your fingers (sitting guy has folding grip, so it is less of an issue for him) Source: https://sun9-29.userapi.com/impf/6kIuMjO6wIgo0uj2EE_QsjGKcIt44z5AMtpzBg/WMC1wk-NwUY.jpg?size=1080x607&quality=96&sign=9d412d65e88a4eb7aef543843681cbc6&type=album

Looking forward for this one. One thing: That ball bat grip (on the front grip) on the standing one, just looks like a amateur shooter to me. Thats perfectly fine on some models. But the SSO guys knows better I presume. The kneeling guy does it right :)
