[OPEN POST] 33 - May 2024 - Combat Octopods North America and Western Europe branch

"Area cleared, Boss. QRF out."

A new release is out, and this one bring a lot of new stuff!

This release features a new branch of my fictional Combat Octopods PMC - their North American and Western Europe part. Working closely with police, CT and SWAT teams, they specialize in brutal CQB firefights, utilizing a mix of heavy armor and short weapons, suitable for in-building combat.

They wear a mix of commercially available assault armor kits, with option for less-armored troops also available in the set!

In terms of weapons I've made a mix of my favorites, from M4CQBR and UMP45 to brand-new MCX Rattler subcompact carbine

But that's not all! For the first time, this release incorporates a non-modular versions, already loaded with a bunch of pouches and selection of weapons, in addition to a huge variety provided by modular kit.

And the last point - as you might notice, this release has its main renders colored, please share your feedback! Do they look better than plain grey? Do they look worse? Or it doesn't matter?

As always, you can see more info on layout renders!

I wish you to have the most splendid time printing , painting and wargaming with them!

Cheers!

ETA - momentarily

Stas

Is there an ETA for the MMF upload for the May release?

I'm going to join in and say I preferred the green renders - easier to show off the details on the figures and it did feel a bit like a CO Trademark at this point!
