February 2020 Newsletter

Hello Patrons!  Thank you so much for all the love and support you've given us, whether it's newcomers or those who have been here for months and even years!

We've been keeping our Patreon incredibly active and we'll continue to post early videos and contests as much as we can.  Since our contests involving the Nic Cage and Travolta Blu Rays went over so well, be expecting to see more contests involving movies and memorabilia too.

I've been editing the new Snob episodes well in advanced to get those up here early.  This week I'll be working on the next Snob episode for The Haunting of Sharon Tate.  I may finally get around to that 4th Ilsa movie as well, Ilsa Tigress of Siberia.  Sometimes Snob episodes are subject to change if something else new pops up.  There's a mockbuster coming to DVD called Revolution 1917, so I may do something with that as well.  Not sure if I'll make it a Snob episode or just a Midnight Screenings.

Our feedback on the Midnight Screenings review for "Roe V Wade" went over so well that we may end up turning that into a side series called "Brad Ruins Rob's Day" in which I describe a random direct to DVD movie to Rob just to get a shocked reaction out of him.  There is a new Norm of the North movie coming out this month, so that may be perfect for that.

I'm going to try to have the last episodes of the month contain an episode poll at the end of them.  If you haven't seen the Dreamer episode yet, you'll see that the next sacrificial melodrama is the 1982 film Soup for One.  We should be getting around to doing the latest Patreon Requested Midnight Screenings this month too.

I'm playing a lot of catch up this week, normally the weekend is when I watch and film the Binge Watch segments for Friends, but with it being Super Bowl Sunday yesterday, I gotta make that up during the week.  Once all the season are done, they'll be compiled into one gigantic video and made public, but until then you can see the individual seasons here.

We've also got new episode of Problematic coming up tomorrow involving Oscar Predictions, and the DVD-R Hell episode on the Punky Brewster Challenger episode is going public this week too.  It was going to go public last week, but no joke, it was simply a wild coincidence that I happened to be editing that on the actual anniversary of the challenger explosion.  This was an episode I had wanted to do for a while when I had the time to do another DVD-R Hell, and I didn't realize the date I was editing it until I was actually there recording the voice over.  I thought it best to hold off on releasing it for another week since it would look like I intentionally planned that.  Craziness.
