Three years...
Three years ago, around the same dates, my first set (not a single model) of models, dedicated to the Japanese Self-Defense Forces, was released.
A lot of things happened since then, the number of models made by me has long exceeded a hundred (a monstrous amount, if you think about it) and I could not help but take the opportunity.
Sometimes it's important to take a step back to appreciate the size of a mountain, and this post is about that.
When months merge into a single river from release to release, when you are frantically trying to do everything and a little more, it is very difficult to understand whether you are growing above yourself.
Now, contemplating and comparing, I can finally evaluate the progress.
On two screenshots you can see the models from my very first and most recent release. I think that the difference is pretty obvious.
Similar poses, one weapon model (sorta) yet three years of experience, almost daily hard work, separate them.
And i will move on! There is still a lot to be done, there is still room to make the folds better, there is still room to learn to make models faster, there is still room to develop and become stronger as a sculptor.
You guys helped me tremendously on my way by buying my stuff and staying subscribed, so i felt the need to share my thoughts with you once more.
I will start working on next US release in a couple of days to have some proper rest during my vacation in early May, so stay tuned for more good stuff! I already have some ideas i suppose you will love ;)
Cheers!
