2018-12-23 20:08:23 +0000 UTCWindy City was always cited to me as the quintessential Oscar baiting trash movie. I love snob... but I don't think he tried at all with that episode. There was a lot he could have done but didn't. The fact that nobody talked like a real person, every other line was some pseudo-insightful poppyock, or how it reeked of a self-indulgent movie written, directed and produced by 1 guy were AFAIK not even mentioned. I assume he had to make the video on short notice, expecting that it wouldn't win. But it was a ball dropped and a video that felt to me that he didn't want to make.
