My tablet pen has been spirited away!
Added 2016-04-12 22:42:01 +0000 UTCPerhaps one of our three cats found it and hid in in a ridiculously impossible place to find. But I've turned the house upside down and inside out and we just can't find my tablet pen! And no pen means no art. =(
I'm still holding out the hope the pen will turn up somewhere soon... but it looks like comic/Missing Moment updates may have to be on hold until I can locate it or get a replacement.
My options are to get a replacement for the lost Wacom Intuos4 pen, which is going to be around $70 and be a wait of up to a week (ugh) or I can get a completely new tablet (and pen) from a non-Wacom brand that costs closer to $50 and have it arrive tomorrow. I'm a little uneasy about switching to an new brand/setup but the costs and time constraints might necessitate it.
Either way, I probably can't do the rest of the Missing Moments for the next few days and might not be able to finish a Thursday comic update. (Technically we are not reaching the 1k Patreon goal for 2-page updates right now so a Thursday update would be extra anyway.)
Thanks for being supportive and patient while we sort this out. Being without my drawing pen feels like missing a hand! :(
