Shoulder Update!

I had my follow up appointment about my broken shoulder on Friday, and it went really well.  I've been functioning really well with it, luckily my job is anything but physical, it's just a lot of typing and mouse clicking, so it hasn't affected my work or anything like that.  They did another x-ray on it, and while you can certainly tell that it doesn't look like it should, in that there's a broken clavicle in it; you can see that it's healing fine, and the healing bone is coming in to attach the bones back together.  Luckily it won't require any surgery or screws or anything.  

In terms of any long term pain, it'll probably have some minor soreness to it for an extremely long time, probably the rest of my life, but no more than a typical injury like that.  For the most part it'll be just fine, I'll probably just be able to tell when it's going to rain.  I should be good to go when the production on the new movie starts, which is good, since I'll definitely be using my arm some for that given that I'm playing the bad guy in it who has to torment a babysitter throughout a house for about 90 minutes.

Other than that, I can still drive and do basic day to day things.  Just no heavy lifting, or raising my arm up or things that would fuck it up.  I'll be driving to Detroit this Friday to host the Tromadance Film Festival, which I'm really excited for.  Plus I'll be spending about a week up there past the festival to be with my amazing girlfriend Violet.  We'll be driving back down to Springfield together too.  Must definitely remember to stop at the White Castle, which I don't exactly have to remember.  Since I'll be away for about a week and a half, I'll be shooting an extra Snob episode this week in order to put on the site while I'm in Detroit, plus Violet and I will shoot a couple things too, like the Midnight Screenings that will be out that week.  

I've got the Heaven's Gate Part 3 video written, and I'll be shooting that here soon, but I can't post it until Wednesday since I have to wait till Wednesday to get one of the cameos for it.  That's no biggie, I'll just use the extra time to work on the next week's Snob episode, which will be Terminator themed.  Oh yeah, and there's that hot dog crust pizza too from Pizza Hut now.  I'm definitely going to have to give that a try this week as well.  Lifting a slice of pizza won't be hard on my shoulder =)
