"What Happened to Your Face?!?"

Well for those who have been following me on twitter all day, I've been having some fun at my expense for my newly busted up face and fractured shoulder. Let me tell you something, I don't recommend a fractured shoulder. I'd recommend "The Loft" before I'd recommend a fractured shoulder. I don't know how to describe it, but it's been like a baseball sized ball of soreness just right freakin there in my shoulder. Fucking ouch. My face on the other hand feels fine. Yeah, it's scraped up, and I have stitches across my eyebrow, but it doesn't hurt. It's just very swollen and looks like Mad Max 3D punched my right in the damn eye. Seriously, that movie will kick your ass in all the right ways. I don't have a memory of it happening, but from what I gather I just simply blacked out and fell right off the porch onto the gravelly ass concrete. Face and shoulder first, as you can clearly see. So either I simply blacked out because of my depression medication, which unfortunately is a side effect, or I just can't remember it because I did land on my head. Eh, no matter, I'll be fine, it'll just be a long healing process as far as the shoulder is concerned. Also I'm told there's going to be a scar on my eye. Badass. As far as my spirits go, I'm honestly a lot better. I definitely hadn't been myself lately due to the hardcore depression and very bad luck that I went through, but as soon as my arm heals up, I'll be getting back to work hardcore, with premieres of new series, new episodes of The Snob, plus more Tequila and Bonetti, plus I want to get to work on new movie projects as well. I've got some wonderful new people in my life who have made things pretty great for me in recent weeks. One person in particular is truly wonderful. I'm sorry my work ethic has been a little sporadic in the last couple months, but I've tried to get as much done as I can, between my moods and also my hospital visits. The 300th episode of The Cinema Snob is coming up next, and I think I'll do a little bit of rewriting on that to add in my new injury. You're words of encouragement and wishes have been great, and thanks a million for that. Maybe I'll do a vlog about my injuries, because holy shit, hurts so much lol. There is a picture that I have on my phone that's significantly bloodier than the one I showed on twitter. When I got to the hospital, I wasn't really sure what happened, but I could feel how bloody my face was, so I took a picture of it on my phone so I could see it. Bleh, it's not a pretty picture, quite literally =) If I do a vlog, maybe I'll show you a quick glance of that. Until next time, I've got a Brad Tries that I shot a few days ago that I need to get edited and posted, but first, much rest.

Looking pretty damn windswept there bro! It does sort of suit you, if that's any consolation. And Lloyd is looking very promising, the animation reminds me of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZu69_ouc-U

Hope you get well soon Brad, you surely didn't need that injury on top of everything else... But on the bright side, you're still the cutest face on the internet, now with 33% more badassness ;) Take care dear!

Shlapocalypse

I think the real thing to consider isn't the injury, it's the black out. That could not have been good and I know if it were me would scare me more than anything. Hope you're better soon and take all the time in the world to get better. To wit, I can at least speak for myself in saying that your health is more important than a consistent release schedule.

Inquisitor

Fucking concrete, you suck!! Take great care of yourself Brad and get well soon! You're awesome!

LydiaHyde

If nothing else, one should always be able to take away an awesome story from a shitty experience. Plus now you can use the "wanna know how I got these scars" line.

Wesley Foxx

Glad to hear your okay. Take as much time as needed to heal up. Also you work hasn't suffered from all the shit going on in your life as you have been putting out stuff weekly so its been all good. I'm real glad I join patreon recently because of all the stuff you put out :)

Please get well soon and take as much time to rest as needed! You look pretty bad on the photo (not meant to be insulting *g*) but ironically the worst thing is unseen. Maybe I can understand what you're going through: lately I was unable to move an inch without horrible pain, especially in the shoulders, back and neck. But this was only for a night, yours seems to be pretty bad. Hopefully this is gonna get better very soon! At least it's great to read that you feel better inside :) Keep it up!

Seems that the right shoulder is the one that gets broken the most often. My mother, ex-mother-in-law, and longtime convention friend have all had the misfortune of bunging up their right shoulder in the past few years, although none have a matching badass facial scar to go along with them. XD Had I the time and resources, I'd find a way to come visit you and get you set up with some Mazzio's while you're on the mend. But, it'd be a 7-8 hour car trip to get there from Tulsa, OK, and I spent too much money at a rather lackluster convention this past weekend (though I did get to meet Bulk and Skull). Oh well... I'm not taking any meds for my own depression, though I probably should. From those of my close ones that do take them, I've seen how hard the side effects can be, which is a significant enough reason for me to avoid taking anything. As for work ethic, I think we can get by with fewer episodes if it means you have proper time to heal. Your health and well-being should always come first.

Eesh I remember going off my antidepressants and spending two weeks in constant nausea and dizziness. But I didn't end up hurting myself somehow. You look like a freakin badass. Take it easy though. I'm so happy to see you're kicking depression in the ass.

Riley

Yikes, dude! You shouldn't tangle with gravity, it fights dirty. Seriously though, you don't need to apologize for your work ethic - you've had a rough time lately - you have to take care of you. Feel better!

Heidi Wempen

Good luck with the recovery Brad. And yes, if there was ever a movie you could claim beat you up and have it believed it's Fury Road.

Kim Huett

Love the "but you should see the other guy" look you have. Really speaks to your attitude, medically enhanced or not. Glad that aside of your fight with gravity things are going better. I look forward to new material, but take care of yourself first.

JD

Holy shit Brad, get well soon! If you need anyone to talk to, we're all here for you!

Tyler Swift

Brad tries Face injuries. More seriously tho, it does look worst than it is since the face area bleed a lot more than any other part of the body, wish you a great recovery and not only physically. I'd say more but hey 4am got to go to works bye.
