The One Where I'm Tired and Writing a Blog

Ahhhh! So freakin tired. I went to bed very late last night, between recording the Midnight Screenings, and then coming home and watching the Paddington and Wedding Ringer reviews. Then a handful of episodes of "Friends." They've put Friends up on Netflix, so you know what that means? That means I'm binge watching a lot of Friends. I don't care how popular it is now days to not like this show or to say that it doesn't hold up, I still love this show, and to me, it still holds up. Why the fuck don't I have a foosball table as my dining room table? I would purchase a duck and a chick, but the cats would definitely not like that. I'm not going to lie though. Rewatching the first season, it's making me feel mentally a little old. Holy shit, that was 20 years ago. These characters are in their early 40s now. Ross' kid is nearing drinking age. There's adults now who have no memory of this show premiering, or The Rachel. Son of a bitch, 20 years goes by fast. While Brian may have his Gilmore Girls, I'm not alone in my Friends love. Dave and Sarah have been rewatching the hell out of the show too. I think Sarah is like me in that she watched the entire series first run as well. I also hope I'm not alone in saying that David Schwimmer is completely underrated as an actor. Aside from giving arguably the most dramatic performances on Friends, as well as his very good comedic timing, all you need to do is just watch Schwimmer in Duane Hopwood, where he stars as a hardcore alcoholic, and you can truly see his talent come out to shine. And Mac and C.H.E.E.S.E. should have been the real spin off of Friends. I was just as sad as Joey when Mac and C.H.E.E.S.E. was cancelled. I would have watched the living hell out of that. Ok, enough Friends talk, why did I come here again? I kinda just went off on a Friends tangent, but then again, I'm sure that's why you're reading this. Not necessarily for Friends, but for just a random string of thoughts as I sit at a keyboard. Can you tell I have A.D.D. yet, or used to be a coke head in my late teens and early 20s? Speaking of, my friend Katie sent me a picture of when I was around 23 maybe, drunk and coked out as hell while leaning on an ATM at our local bar. Ah, those were the days. Wait a minute, no they weren't, those were terrible terrible days! I may feel slightly old while watching Friends, but dear god do I love my 30s way better than my 20s. I miss my hair, but I can live with that. Right now we're doing some scheduling on getting the Worst of the Year videos posted. We're going to be doing some filming on that this weekend. I doubt we'll be able to get both of the Worst of videos done this weekend, but at least we'll be able to do 1. I'm working hard on getting shit done before I gotta leave for Magfest on Tuesday, and that includes on of the Worst Ofs as well as the new Snob episode. Damn, it's time to take a shower and make some coffee. I gotta start waking up before I sit down to watch the Snob movie this week. It's a movie I've seen before many many times, so at least I know what I'm getting into, and I know that it's awesome.
