First Blog Entry
Added 2014-12-17 19:13:42 +0000 UTCMid-week Midnight Screenings totally always throw me off. Normally the pre-screenings we go to are on Thursday nights, but when there's a mid-week release (say, for instance, The Hobbit which was on Tuesday night, or some of the summer releases that premiere on Wednesdays), I always wake up the next morning thinking that it's Friday. Just today, I went to see what was premiering on On Demand, and was shocked to find out "holy shit, there's nothing new." Oh, right, because it's not Friday, it's...what the fuck day is this? Oh, it's Wednesday, got it. Luckily there's a few more releases tomorrow night, so that will put my week right back on track. Of course, I've already gotten my fill of popcorn this week, so I'll be giving me stomach a break. Instead, I'll stop by Taco Bell on the way to the movie theater. What? My dad gave me a Taco Bell gift card for my birthday, plus I have tried those new fried taco roll things that they've been advertising. Ok, gift card or not, I'd be going to Taco Bell anyway. It's still cheaper than a large popcorn and a soda. After being at the movie theater every single week for the past several years, popcorn is starting to take its toll on me. I regret it after directly after I have it, but it's like some weird drug or something. A week goes by and I feel the need to get it again, because I miss it. Then regret happens, wash rinse and repeat. Now my system is if the movie is over 2 hours, I'll get some popcorn. If it's under 2 hours, I'll stop and get some dinner on the way to the theater. That's how weird my stomach is. It prefers fast food over movie theater popcorn. Hell, I think the food my digestive system hates the most ISN'T White Castle, I handle sliders just fine, it's Jimmy John's. But I still get Jimmy John's all the time, because it delivers. That's the beauty of working from home, I know every place that delivers, and I use them all the time. The other gift card my dad got me was for Head West, which is a local sub shop here in town that delivers. They even deliver on Wednesdays! There is a food ordering system that goes to various restaurants in town and brings you some food, but there's a $12 order minimum, along with a $5 delivery fee. Sorry, I don't need a Krekel's cheeseburger THAT badly. My birthday is coming on Saturday, so my body must prepare for the annual bar-hop-a-thon which happens every year on my birthday. Expect to read more about that, plus plenty of stories from my past involving a lot of drinking, and some not so pleasant things I used to put up my nose when I was in my early 20s. Most people will use the Patreon blog section to talk about current videos they're working on (which, sure, I'll do that sometimes too), but I'd rather use it to talk about the time I was 23 and woke up hungover on a train and had no clue where it was going. Good times. Wait, no, those were terrible times! But they make good stories.

Happy Birthday, hope the drinking was the good kind that ended in blurry memories and accusation of urination on police cars!
