Costume Confusion

I don't know why I had this silly yet wholesome image idea in mind but I had to draw it anyways: Mario and Luigi are switching clothes and something doesn't seem to fit.
I loved the idea of them trying to be in the other's shoes for a day to see how much they have in common and how much their lives differ despite being THE Mario Bros, however since Mario is shorter and a bit chubbier and Luigi is taller and a bit lanky, their clothes wouldn't really fit, making Luigi's pullover too long for Mario and Mario's pullover too short to cover Luigi's belly (so basically turning it into a crop top?). And they haven't even started putting on the overalls yet, so it seems like an easy mix-up or role switch can't happen after all. They are unique and wonderful in their own special ways and can't be replaced by the other.
What do you think of this drawing and would you say Green suits Mario/Red suits Luigi? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
