:COMM: Together forever

this here was a commission for a family friend who asked me to draw a Portrait of her nephew and the dog of the little one. Since the old family dog suffers from cancer, it sadly is only a matter of time that she passes away, so i got commissioned to draw these two cuties togetehr since they never leave eachother's side. The child loves this dog, Emmi, and Emmi loves this child, protecting her as much as she can.
In my eyes, this is an absolutely touching and beautiful idea for a commission, so I feel absolutely honoured to be chosen to create it. I did my best on it when it comes to drawing portraits and I'm absolutely satisfied with the result! Portraits can be quite difficult for me and every time I manage to make it work out, I feel proud and believe I learned something from it^^ Same is with this drawing and I think it shows that they are there for eachother - inseparable till the end and Emmi will forever be kept in the family's heart.
