The Fabeled Uniques - Nalu

Hello everyone,

I am finally able to present to you one of my biggest projects I have ever worked on for a client since we've created a new brand and series of 10 characters, 10 unique and special unicorn friends in a magical world going through adventures together. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you: The Fabeled Uniques.

I can now show you all 10 characters I created and illustrated for a product line including a sticker book, colouring book, a calendar, stickers, posters and more. It might sound odd, but Nalu, this elegant and majestic looking stallion, is Enjo's older brother and capable of bending water - what a big contrast in regards to his younger brother hehe. This contrast also gets underlined by the fact that Nalu has a mild, soft nature in comparison to Enjo, always making sure to be polite and patient. He pays a lot of attention to his appearance and relaxation in life, but never misses out on the fun. A secret of him though is to be very emotional and "close to the water" as we call it in germany, which means if he gets frustrated, sad or overwhelmed by emotions, he won't hide the tears he might shed in such situations.

In my opinion, Nalu is an enjoyable companion that you like being around. He is wise and experienced even in his young age. I can see that he might also not be attracted to mares but rather prefer his own kind as a partner, but this is just my personal thought I kinda wanted to implement in his design ;)

I really hope you like this series of get-to-know drawings for these characters since all of them are my little babies and I couldn't be happier how these have turned out! I am very much looking forward to your feedback.
