Spring is here

Hey everyone^^

It's been a while since I was able to properly draw a bigger piece for Spitfire/SpitDash but now I forced myself to finish this. It was actually supposed to be done back at the beginning of March buuuut you know about my situation. Oh man.

Anyways, here it is! A Drawing of two "Love Birds" enjoying some time together in the warm sunshine that slowly returns now that winter is over. First fresh feelings start to come up, ice is melting and causing a new beginning - such a lovely time. I love spring and how colourful flowers come out, how the grass turns green and animals come out again. I wanted to show all that in this drawing so we can see flowers, we can see a beautiful landscape on a hill, a ladybug, butterfly and some birds surrounding the two Wonderbolts. I wanted to portray this scene with focus on both of these aspects instead of just focussing on the characters or the scenery in the background^^

I had fun working on this but I also had some problems/difficulties here and there with the environment as I was unsure if it looked good enough or not. I dunno, I am a perfectionist and I'm always seeing some things that bother me xD meh. Anyways, I took my time with this, especially taking care of colours and the overall practice of landscapes and what not. I hope it shows^^
