:COMM: Dark Transformation

Heya!

New commission coming right this way, again for :iconvictorymon: and kind of a followup to the last one, featuring his OC Dusk Weaver, the royal guard: http://fav.me/dd90i91

But this time we have a way darker topic to it, seeing how the evil shadow takes over the usually kind and protecting pegasus and turning him into a Shadowbolt - his darker side.

The commissioner himself has a very deep story about this character and his transformation, that is really interesting and kind of reminds me of Jekyll and Hyde. Now in this drawing it's the momentum when the darker side takes over, slowly devouring every good of the pony while the fur starts to chenge into the typical grey-ish tone, the clothes of the Shadowbolts acting like the symbiote from Venom, forming a shell around the body of Dusk Weaver, emitting a dark aura around him and forcing him to completely let go of everything good on him. Oh yes, i sure had fun drawing this image, I can tell^^

I really like the dynamics in this piece, showing the motion and how the clothing/uniform acts like tentacles moving around him, slowly coming together, I like the way the fur changes and truly adore the expression on the character as it looks powerfull and yet painfull. Oh boy. I love the outcome of this^^
