Lonely Night continues

Hello everyone,

you might remember one of my latest Spitfire drawings showing her with a grumpy expression, sitting at a pub all alone while having herself some booze... Well, I've seen this as some kind of prequel to the next shot, which you can see here:

Honestly, I would have liked to turn this scene into a small comic, only like 5 zo 10 pages actually, where we can find out what went wrong, why she's drinking to drown her frustration/anger and what happens next in the evening. But despite the lack of time to work on it, it might also give a wrong impression. You see: My opinion towards alcohol is clear - I despise it, I'm afraid of it and I've never intentionally touched even the slightest drop of it, not even for celebrations. However, as much as I hate alcohol as a whole and as much as I'm scared of it in a way, I can totally see it as a part of Spitfire in my long head canon, I might give you a short form of.

I imagine Spitfire to have been and still be like a machine, always focused, cold, strict and motivated to reach her goals for the best of Equestria and the ponies around her. However, by being that cold and strict, having to give punishment if someone disrespects her orders as the Captain of the Wonderbolts, she doesn't have the best rebutation and ponies might have started talking bad about her behind her back, despising her, but she knows. Therefore, on stressful days, the pegasus mare just sits at her favourite pub, drinking enough to cover her feeling of being lonely and hated by others around her and to cover her sorrows (that I won't explain any further since it would be too long).
So in short: I just see alcohol as her only real weakness - she is a strong, athletic, loyal character, an idol for many and leader of an important group, someone who seems to have no real weaknesses or flaws at all... She does indeed... alcoholism might be the problem for her.

This is just why I came up with this topic and wanted to draw it out, I'm not setting the statement that alcohol is a good thing, I wouldn't say that XD Just keep that in mind.

Nevertheless, I really hope you like this new drawing, I definitely enjoyed drawing it, drawing Spitfire from that perspective, my pretty grumpy favourite mare, and adding a more or less decent background XD oh well, looking forward to your feedback^^
