Hello everyone,
next up for my Media Studies series is this piece that shows us/people in a little different way - everyone says we need to communicate, we need to stay in contact and care about our social contacts/connections... and yet what do we see?
On streets, in trains, where ever it might be, if we look around there barely are people talking to each other in public. Instead, everyone is in his own little world like we're looking through a cube, we don't really look around and smile at others, we listen to music and stay focused on our technical equipment, our little gadgets, no matter if mobile phone, tablet, laptop or Iwatches.
In this drawing, I interprete this as if we're bound together in a huge network we don't see since even though we're not talking/communicating in public all that much anymore, we are communicating to others online and all over the world. So...are we communicating enough or aren't we...?
I leave the rest and the answer up to you. i just hope you like this piece as much as I actually do. :)
