:COMM: Late Night Reading

I've got to show you the new commission, which is for :iconmaxojir: :D He wanted me to draw his OC cuddling with his girlfriend's on a bed while reading late at night.
As you can see, the usually tough mare is half-asleep while hugging the stallion tightly and warmly as he places a hoof on her back to keep her safe. Nevertheless, the unicorn seems to be interested in a new book he's levitating with his magic.
The only light, aside from his magic, comes from the orange-yellow bright light coming from the open doof of the room. I wonder what might be behind it...?
The drawing itself was nice to work on and practice shading and placing layers/colours right^^ It was nice to work on it but also challenging hehe, not in a negative way though :D
Experimenting around with colours and blending etc. was nice^^
Anyways, I really hope you like the outcome and I want to thank the commissioner for this commission :D It means a lot to me and even more if they enjoy the piece :)
Time: around 5 to 6 Hours in total
