AP - Simple Still Life 1

Hello guys,

another piece for my art portfolio that we have here^^ It's some kind of still life of bathroom paraphernalia like a bottle of soap, toilet paper and a tooth brush in a simplistic, almost comic-like style.

In this piece, I tried to play around only 4 colours and black and white to make it not overwhelmingly colourful but set a strong statement with it, using shades of blue and orange to create that contrast of complementary colors. When using them, I wanted to have cell shading areas so it's not too flat but neither is it too realistic but rather interesting to look at. To make these objects stand out a little more, I first went over the piece with a black brush pen and then left some white areas around them so the colours wouldn'r touch at the edges.

I have to say: I actually really like this creation. Okay, I see a few flaws that could have been done better, but in general I like it and the esthatics in it. It's simple but still pops and catches the beholder's eye.
