"Suddenly without any warning he trotted splash into water! Ugh! it was icy cold. That pulled him up sharp and short. He did not know whether it was just a pool in the path, or the edge of an underground stream that crossed the passage, or the brink of a deep dark subterranean lake." -J. R. R. Tolkien, The Hobbit
Great news: the PIRATE BORG PDF is complete! It's off to the proofreaders and editors, and then to the printers! So in true Limithron style, I drew the map twice: once for the book (isometric) and once for VTT and battle maps! There are 14 variations. I'm personally a big fan of the Smuggler's Den, as I loved those locations in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Pirate cinema fans might recognize a scene from Goonies, and Avernus and Icewind Dale DMs will surely find some versions they can use.
