FREE DOWNLOAD: 3 CARIBBEAN REGION MAPS
Here is a map of the Caribbean for use in historical Pirate campaigns. It was drawn, colored, and labeled by your's truly!
The location names are historically accurate for around 1715, which is a time when the pirates of Nassau - including Blackbeard - were active, but it should work well for any setting during the Golden Age of Piracy. I've also included a "No Labels, No Grid" version in case you are looking to do an Alternate Earth campaign or a Fog of War style campaign where your players learn names as they discover them.
Each small square is 25 miles, and the larger "latitude and longitude" lines are 50 miles square. Latitude lines are around 49 miles apart at the Equator, so while the landmass of this map is fairly accurate to the geography of the region, I probably wouldn't try to use it to navigate with on your next sailing outing.
