2024-05-06 04:32:10 +0000 UTCI first watched this movie when I was 6 years old. My mom for whatever reason thought I could watch it.. Obviously I cried and had nightmares lol I resented it for many years but I watched it again at 17. Still left me a bit traumatized but I finally understood why my mom loved it so much. Despite the strong and mature themes it definitely deserved the Best Picture Oscar.
