I forgot to comment before you remember the Tellarites from SNW they tend to usually only get mentioned in show cause of there appearance but Pike had a whole episode similar to this one where he had to play it off with a tellarite ambassador on Earth space dock, but they are a integral species to the federation as you will see in the next episode
