Chapter 7 - questions MC should ask his parents

I have a 2nd scene with the MC's parents planned for Chapter 7 (comparable to the scene in Chapter 5) where the parents can answer questions the MC (the player) might have.
I have the stuff I have in mind covered, of course. But I learned from the CH5 scene that a player might have more or different questions. Questions the stupid dev didn't think of or thought were self-explanatory (because he's lacking the view from outside).
So if you have any questions you feel should be addressed in that scene, feel free to post them in the comments.
I'll review them and see if/where I can fit them in.

How long have they known about potential magic in the family? Any OTHER secrets they want to share before they yet again endanger their children from their own paranoia about what ifs? IF Katja didn't have a history with the MC, would they be sidelining her? We both know they never planned to tell the MC about the Templars, but did they EVER plan to tell them about the magic potential?

Questions the MC may want to ask his parents: His job: The Templars have a lot of influence with his work. Is it a front for the Templars? If so did they give him his job? Was it merit or because of his parents connections behind the scenes? Just how much control of his life do they even have? Did he get the promotion because he earned it or because Helena's superiors said so? If on the Elea path, the MC would probably want to ask about her. Kaija relationship: When Kaija became involved with the MC (even though she didn't love him) did the parents at least try to intervene on his behalf with Kaija, and protect him emotionally? Or was it case of, he will get over it? Or she will learn to love him? or were they thinking about Kaija and the Templars, and his feelings were an after thought? Or was it some other reason? Future: Did they know Jess had innate magical abilities? If so when were they planning on telling them, if at all? Does he have any innate abilities? If so, when were they going to tell him, if at all? What else haven't they told him? How can he trust them anymore? Why should he trust them going forward?

Could Kaija's grandfather have been einherjar back in the day, went to Alfheimr, got a really long life because of it, and was telling her his own stories out of guilt? Worse yet, could he have been part of the historic problem w/ the Alfar? Sound them out about why Medb and Oberon would deal with him directly? Ask if either he, Jess, or both were conceived during missions away from Earth? O:-) Push for more details about Kaija/grandfather and her acceptance into the order (likely a bad idea if we're still fighting for Kaija)? Push for info about Sayo? Mom knows Nightingale, so ask about how? More about Jai? More about the mercenaries and the original attack? See if mom/dad know anything about Mac and the bar? If they actually know who/what our Norse friend is? And soooooooo many more...
