I'm glad this week is coming to an end.
I caught a cold from my wife last weekend and spent most of the time in bed. This time of the year sucks... everyone sneezing and coughing.
I'm sure they specifically target me in an attempt to harm me! Now where's my tinfoil hat?
On top of that, the new PC gave me some issues because it did not boot on Wednesday afternoon. After spending several hours troubleshooting I hope I have fixed the problem now (RAM settings in BIOS). At least it's working again now.
I'm sure it does that on purpose to annoy me. Ah... there's my tinfoil hat...
Moving on to the work I actually got done this week.
I had to set up 2 new environments so that took quite a bit of my available time, especially the 2nd environment as it is a kitbash from 3 different environments.
Besides all that, I got a few more renders done and a bit of coding.
Hopefully, the next week will pass by without additional problems and I can catch up with the already written stuff.
The numbers for this week:
51 new static renders for a total of 980
1 new animation for a total of 14
81 new lines in the script file for a total of 2908

2024-12-09 20:31:16 +0000 UTCMy MB has LEDs that give indicators of errors. When the LED for the RAM didn't go off, I suspected a faulty module, of course. Took me a while and several tests to find out that they're all fine and it's the BIOS settings. Regarding the weather... I'll sit that one out and wait for climate change to take care of that :-D

2024-12-09 09:56:23 +0000 UTCComputer problems just show that your computer does not respect your authoritah, so you need to teach it who the boss is. When building a computer, I always use motherboards that have a two digit POST code display, so you can see by the code what is going on fairly quickly. As for the health issues, when I get sick physically, I just know that it is just my body trying to catch up to the level of insanity I have, and failing(for the most part). I do feel like I want to move to a place with better weather at least. Just take care of yourself and get better soon!
