Poll on image quality

This poll is for Mercenary and up tiers, I'll post a public version within the next few days.
I'll weigh the results of the polls accordingly, which means the result here will have a higher influence on my decision than the public one.
As of now, TNT is compressed to webp/webm 90% quality to reduce file size (currently ~4 GB).
Of course, compression comes with a quality loss. The 90% is a compromise between quality and file size but lately, I got into thinking if it's worth it.
So why not ask you guys for your opinions?
I attached 3 files:
the original png downsized to 1080p, sitting at 2.5MB file size
the webp 90% quality, sitting at 200KB file size
lossless webp sitting at a file size of 1.8MB
There's a noticeable difference between the 2 webp images (mostly on her skin) but no real difference between png and lossless webp.
The question for you now is: Is the quality gain (going from 90% to lossless) worth a file size of roughly 4-5 times the actual file size (200KB vs 1.8MB is a pretty drastic example, not all lossless webp will be that much bigger).

Nice to see it's possible, but I don't you to waste time rerendering anything and your work is top, it doesn't need "reworking". Of course, if you decide to give us more beach scenes with Elea, you won't hear any complaints here. đ

2024-03-18 21:07:46 +0000 UTCCan we see more granular examples like 92, 95, 98? Since the difference is a bit too much between 90 and lossless. Like the embroidery on clothes is night and day difference. In lossless the embroidery has blue highlights, while the 90 version is just gray/silver. The 90 version is a bit blurrier but it helps with the skin textures as they look too plasticky in the Lossless version.

2024-03-18 20:30:02 +0000 UTCThanks for the comments so far, guys. 1440p would be possible but requires a rework of Chapter 1 and half of Chapter 2 since they're rendered in 1080p. I started rendering in 4k after Elea's beach scene if I remember correctly
