Nov. 2020 Update (Goku Time & Others)

Apologies for the late update, but we've been waiting for more news before jumping the gun. Now I feel we're ready to share our schedule going forward.

In case you haven't seen: Goku Time ep.1 was removed from Youtube again by Toei, this time with a copyright strike. For those unfamiliar with Youtube's process, three copyright strikes means a total removal of the channel. We've attempted multiple times to contact Toei but all those attempts have gone unanswered, and Youtube's policy gives Toei the benefit of the doubt 100% of the time; we can't publish ep.1 on Youtube without taking Toei to court, which, y'know. We're not going to do.

As such, we need to announce that Goku Time will unfortunately be put on hiatus for the time being. We don't plan to quit the series, as we have a ton of great ideas we want to see through, but the truth is that we cannot fight Toei. There are other ways to publish, like Daily Motion or our still-under-construction website, and we'll pursue those routes later, but for now, work on ep.2 has stopped and LuckyBlue is instead working on other smaller projects to get them out by the end of the year. We don't want more ire from Toei when our channel is still so small.

Our goal was to have GT ep.2 out between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year, but now we're going to see if we can get MSAGW ep.10 out in that timeframe instead. There's a LOT of work to be done on this episode, but LuckyBlue and I will be working on edits together to try and fast-track it best we can. It'll all come down to timing, when people can record and how smoothly things go.
