If there had to be 3 series that can reach that perfect status, what’s better than these 3.
Of course you dudes saw way more anime’s than me and maybe others can be added. But for me these were golden in every direction.

The only thing I think that's good about OG FMA is that it includes a few early story moments that were cut in Brotherhood so it could catch up to where it diverged quicker. It's minor stuff like the entirety of Yoki's origin which Brotherhood recaps and one or two fights but everything else imo is lacking in the same narrative substance that Brotherhood/manga gave. The '03 series isn't bad but after you've watched Brotherhood there's not really any point tbh

2025-10-31 17:50:21 +0000 UTCIf someone says to watch 2003 FMA - it may be something good for a big fan, but also may be waste of time and bullshit. Series are very different!! TLDR: Fullmetal was hyped manga and anime adaptation caught up to recent chapters when comic was still ongoing - director made his own story and ending just to close the series and make that $$$. After certain episodes story is completly different - like "What if" of fullmetal universe.
