I think the only thing that you misconstrued here Khan is that while Maromi and Shonen Bat are products of Tsukiko's past and trauma, they both represent different things so they're not entirely the same. Maromi is like a self defense mechanism, a comfort entity that warns her and "protects" her from the trauma and fear that Shonen Bat represents. Maromi isn't evil like Shonen Bat, though like how the mind and body will try everything to avoid facing the truth Maromi can hinder and indirectly put Tsukiko in dangerous situations.
