About this episode, Shounen Bat could be a real being/human, but the last episode with his superhuman speed, and this episode with him becoming a giant, especially after the ex-detective's wife overheard people saying he is a "giant", it means he could also be a metaphorical being or something mental that people envision to get themselves out of their issues (even if there was a real deal shounen bat, the idea of him is far bigger than himself now). He's something you can chase away by fighting the dark feelings in your heart. That said, we did see the wife's house become increasingly destroyed. I interpreted this as the wife's own raging about. My guess is that her monologue was happening in her head as she broke things in the house to vent stress. Similarly, I bet she bumped her head somehow which is why she started bleeding. But her comparison between Maromi and Shounen bat being "two sides of the same coin" is the biggest takeaway here I believe. Meaning she thinks Maromi is similarly a false escape of reality, which is something negative.. Marmoi is the shaitan's work (Maromi is Labubu YO) xD

My thoughts on episode 10: I totally forgot about that episode, so I'm totally theorizing here (not like Paranoia can be spoiled lol), seeing Saruta attacking the producer at the end with a bat (ironically, to take credit for delivering the episode) makes you think this weasel could've been the one who killed the entire team and is blaming it on Shounen Bat..! or he was actually possessed by Shounen Bat (?). Then he was the last victim of himself/Shounen Bat, where it could've just been the accident that took him out.. that's why shounen bat was so "fast" following the car, he wasn't fast, perhaps he was always there within him? makes ya think.
