Edit: or maybe I am wrong - chronologically it looks like he truly loved his family wanted house for his daughter and became sick bastard during the process so he lost house & family?? So many questions, I love this series

This Anime does an amazing job with weaving together different stories and experiences making them blend effortlessly. The level of foreshadowing and clues given are so subtle but when those reveals drop, its like a sledgehammer! Great point khan about all the victims seem to have some serious shit going on in their lives, that definitely seems to be the thread that ties them together...as well our saviour Shonen Bat! Cant wait to see more, hope we're all blessed!

If you guys love this defo check out some of Satoshi Kon's other stuff, they're pretty much all movies but the guy does incredible cerebral and often very bizarre stuff. Also really recommend Lain, very very similar to this but be warned that show is much more interpretive than this one
