It's not terrible, but the English dub is definitely better. There are some scenes that I think the original Japanese voices do better, but I prefer the English overall. The dialogue is also better in the English dub as well for a lot of scenes. Some of these subtitle translations are just so generic in comparison to what is spoken in the English version. It loses a lot of eloquence in sub. And this is coming from someone who always watches anime in sub. I really want Khan to check out that Greed scene in English! Also, didn't the creator of FMA say that she preferred the English version over Japanese? I think that was a thing too, lol. Because it's supposed to be a European style setting.
