The author is a genius to be able to make such a simple seeming story so amazingly complex and deep. The proof of its deepness and complexity is in how emotionally invested this anime gets you, you can't argue that it does that worse than any of the greats. That's the reason we love good stories, anime or not. A mid level anime would not be able to draw you in the way this show does, not to mention the amazing consistency it's done this from s1 till s6

Recently i've been having health issues and im not in my best moment, but when the notification comes in and i see my man dropped a reaction, is the only time of the day i feel good, i forget all my problems while i watch It, no Matter what my man reacts to, is always a boost for me. Minute 4:40 when Izuku is watching heroes with admiration for the first time. Does the old man standing next to him look familiar to you? 😎😎 its the same man from this episode who helped sway the crowd, thinking of how he watched heroes on a stage and changing his mindset. Back then in episode 1, he was watching the heroes from far on a stage like he said, and now they show him changing after Uraraka's speech. Cool touch!

I know a lot of people asked already, but you really should watch the first movie before season 7 since there's a lot of stuff that are canon in that movie and even there was things that happened in season 6 that you didn't catch on since they were introduce in that first movie. The other movies can wait. By the way, season 7 starts on the fourth of May and the episode releases around 11:30am UK time.

Stain perfectly embodies this concept, that's why I can't wait for him to comeback again in the anime. Cannot wait for your reaction of season 7 fam ^^ It's subjective but for me Horikoshi (mangaka of Hero) has the best art out of every other mangaka artist in Shonen Jump. But I still prefer the anime experience because of the voise acting (shigaraki, todoroki,...) and OST. I'm sure you will agree on that. Might in her flashback, is actually an extract from the first Hero movie. The scene is actually longer in the movie. Also the man who's part of the framed photo with younger All Might and young Star and Stripe is one of the protagonist of the first movie. What I'm saying is you should watch every Hero movies, because character from the movies might appear in the future of the manga/anime, and it might give you more context to enjoy the anime. I'm up to date with the manga, but I don't want to say more in risk of spoiling you. Also you will definitely enjoy the movies, just know all the characters in the 3 created movies are canon to the manga and anime. If the patreon community says "no", than just watch it on your own. Because if your a Hero enjoyer, it's a must watch ! The first Hero movie is titled "My Hero Academia : Two Heroes" and it's available on Netflif in the UK. This movie is 1H 36 minutes long. The second movie is titled "My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising" and is also available on Netflix in the UK. This movie is 1H 44 minutes long. The third movie is titled "My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission". This movie is 1H 45 minutes long. If the issue is that the movies are too long for you to react, just divide them in two parts. Watch the first 50 minutes one day, and the last 50 minutes the next day. Than you can upload the parts seperatly if it's better for you, or together. I don't think it matters to anyone. (this goes for everyone) Just so you know Hero sold 100 million copies of it’s manga, with only 40 volumes, that’s huge. That makes it the 10th most successfull manga of all time in Shonen Jump. Just to put it in perspective Bleach who is part of the Big 3, has 74 volumes and sold 130 million copies. It means each volume of Bleach on average sold 1 756 756, while Hero sold on average 2 500 000 copies per volume. After the Big 3 came out, only two manga of Shonen Jump sold more than 100 million copies of their volumes, Demon Slayer and Hero, that’s it. So you see, based on the success Hero has, people can say it’s not for them, but to say it's « mid » is laughable. Just because the minority is loudest, doesn't mean they're the majority. minority = those saying hero is mid If there's that many people buying Hero, it just means the silent majority love Hero. So here’s my top 5 ( 7 sorry, I couldn't choose only 5) favorite anime of all time, that would be cool to hear your thought about it ;-) and don't forget to give us yours Khan ^^ First I must say I prefer long running series, because you get more time to get emotionally attached to the characters and the universe there in. The first place is untouchable it’s Naruto and One Piece, both number 1 but for completely different reason. Naruto because it touched my soul in ways no anime did before or after, and when I say « soul » I really mean it. It's subjective, but I resonate with the characters, the story, the OST's like if it was just created for me. I recently rewatched it for the second time, and what can I say more than it's GOATED. I can't wait to rewatch it for a third time, one day with my children, when they will be old enough. One Piece, well I'm not gonna be original here. It's also GOATED, I would even go as far as to say, this is the greastest story ever written, no matter what medium where talking about, just love the complexity of the world building, the flashback, the characters, everything. There's so many layers to it but what's crazy, is that Oda with each new chapter keeps adding more layers. But with those new layers the story keeps making more sense. Normally when you had to much stuff, it gets confusing, but not with One Piece. I love it man ! FMAB, Hunter x Hunter, Vinland Saga, Boku no Hero Academia and Shingeki no kyojin are my second place. I'm not gonna talk about FMAB, Hunter x Hunter, Vinland Saga and Shingeki no Kyojin cause my comment is long enough ^^' So about Hero, it was already in my top 10 before season 6, beause every season was very good or good at the very least. But with season 6, dropping banger after banger.(Now that you've watched season 7 I love it aswell) Just like when One Piece dropped back to back Sabaody, Impel down, Marineford or when Naruto dropped back to back Jiraya vs Pain, Itachi vs Sasuke, Pain vs Konoha/Naruto and the truth about Itachi. Those arc sequences are Goated ! They stay with you even 10 years after. Hero definitely has moments/feelings in it's manga and anime, that reminds me of my two favorite anime. I also must add that binge-watching it with you Khan, made the experience even better than my first watchthrough, where I had to wait for one episode every week. That's why, for all those reasons Hero is easily in my anime top 7, cannot wait to see how the anime handle the final season ! Anime Top 7: 1 - One Piece / Naruto 2 - FMAB/ Hunter x Hunter/ Vinland Saga/ Boku no Hero Academia/Shingeki no Kyojin If One Piece gets completely redone by Wit Studio, from the beginning until the end. Than it will have a high chance of becoming my number one alone. I sincerely hope all classic anime like Dragon Ball, Naruto, Yu Yu Hakusho, Ippo, Slam Dunk and many more will get a chance one day to get a complete remake of their anime, because they deserve it. I'm sure people would love it, just imagine if we could watch a new episode of Dragon Ball and Naruto every week, with no pacing issue, better animation and no fillers, the dream it would be ! Lastly If Berserk and Kingdom had great anime, they also could be added to my anime top 5 or higher, but that’s not the case unfortunately.
